Description
This workshop offers a practical exploration of executing projects within the Agile Framework while maintaining the engineering and technical rigor required for critical systems. Discover how to formally capture complex systems and programs that extend beyond software, using Agile and model-driven architecture. Topics include the development of key engineering artifacts such as requirements, subsystems, use cases, and activities, and the application of Agile methodologies to high-assurance projects.
Ideal for those wishing to learn how to apply systems engineering methods within an Agile environment with Engineers, Software Developers, and Project Managers.
Learning Objectives
- Examine the nature and complexities surrounding defense industrial and manufacturing development in implementing a more “Agile” approach
- Learn about the Systems Engineering Focused Agile Development (SEFAD) process and the benefits of using it
- Explore how the SEFAD process can be utilized by projects
- Brainstorming session to discuss SEFAD in specific implementations, such as participant projects or programs
