[ECE] Moving to Seattle Workshop

If you’re moving to Seattle, we want to give you some extra tools as you start to plan your move to the area. This is a great time to bring any questions that you have about the city as a whole (public transportation, safety, the weather, cost of living, etc.). We’ll also discuss how to make the most out of life outside of graduate school by taking advantage of what Seattle and the Pacific Northwest has to offer! We’ll be joined by a panel of current PMP students who will share their experience with you.

Example questions that will be covered:

• Do I need a car?
• What does walking around at night feel like?
• How much should I expect to pay in rent and other living expenses?
• How do I make the most of living in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest?
